[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Trend AI, Trend Micro’s enterprise cybersecurity business unit, said on Tuesday it will join Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, which discloses its AI model Mythos to selected companies tailored for cybersecurity use.
Trend AI said it will use Anthropic Claude Mythos Preview to support software code review and analysis.
Trend AI provides an integrated security operations system based on the Vision One platform to major domestic financial institutions, large companies and public agencies. It plans to use its participation in Project Glasswing to support domestic customers so they can directly integrate AI-based vulnerability intelligence into their risk management systems through Vision One.
Rachel Jin (레이첼 진), Trend AI CPBO (chief platform business officer), said, "We share Anthropic’s goal of strengthening the security of all software through AI. Today’s organisations operate at massive scale and are increasingly dependent on software that supports core business functions. Project Glasswing is an important opportunity to explore ways in which advanced AI can help software suppliers identify vulnerabilities earlier and improve the security and resilience of systems customers rely on every day."
Kim Jin-kwang (김진광), head of Trend AI Korea, said, "The speed at which AI discovers vulnerabilities is opening a new phase for both attackers and defenders." He added, "Insights accumulated through Project Glasswing will be reflected in Trend AI Virtual Patching and the Vision One platform to help domestic customers minimise the exposure window before patches are deployed."
