Google\'s Lyria 3 music-generating AI arranges well but still sounds awkward in test

Google’s music-generating AI model Lyria 3 can produce about three minutes of audio with vocals and lyrics from text or images, with structure set by prompts. In a test, it generated a track reminiscent of Kendrick Lamar’s HUMBLE despite changes to the key, and handled a genre shift to orchestral accompaniment smoothly. But lyrics often did not fit melodies, and a jazz-style test sounded like a beginner’s improvisation, with repeated emphasis on a seventh tone. The reviewer said the music lacked a clear motif and narrative shape.

Privacy could be crypto\'s next \'killer app\' as Ark, Canton, Tempo funding tops $1 billion

Combined fundraising by blockchain projects Ark, Canton and Tempo, which focus on stablecoins and tokenisation, has topped $1 billion. Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan (맷 호건) said institutional demand for privacy-focused crypto infrastructure is rising. Circle raised $222 million for Ark at a $3 billion valuation, while Digital Asset is raising $300 million for Canton at $2 billion and Tempo earlier raised $500 million at $5 billion.

Circle unveils Agent Stack to let AI agents pay with USDC

Circle unveiled a developer platform designed to let artificial intelligence agents hold their own wallets and automatically pay using USDC. The new platform, called Agent Stack, includes agent wallets, a command-line developer interface, a services marketplace and a machine-to-machine micropayment protocol. Circle said its nano-payment infrastructure enables gas-free USDC transfers and payments as small as $0.000001. The launch comes amid growing competition to link stablecoins with AI agents.
