Telechips posts Q1 operating profit of 6.12 billion won, returns to profit on year
Telechips said on May 7 it posted first-quarter revenue of 66.0 billion won and an operating profit of 6.12 billion won, returning to profit from a year earlier. Revenue rose 46.2 percent from a year earlier and increased 24.6 percent from the previous quarter to a record high for the company, marking a second consecutive quarterly record. It attributed the turnaround mainly to higher system-on-chip development service revenue and synergies with its existing products business.
