Hoskinson says RealFi testnet is key pillar to grow Cardano DeFi

Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨) has described Cardano\'s RealFi as a core service that can raise total value locked and on-chain transactions. He said the protocol structure locks deposited assets to generate returns that are redistributed, creating on-chain activity through deposits, withdrawals and yield distribution. His comments followed early traction for the phase-one testnet, with more than 1,000 participants and nearly 500 verified wallets. RealFi aims to link DeFi with real-world finance services.

Shibarium DEX volume surges 1,517 percent in a day, hinting at network activity rebound

Daily decentralised exchange trading volume on Shibarium, the layer-2 network for Shiba Inu, rose more than 1,500 percent in a day, according to Decrypt. Volume increased to $275 on July 10 from $17 a day earlier, with all trades handled by ShibaSwap. Shibarium’s total value locked rose to $24,014, up 11.71 percent from June 27. Daily transactions also climbed to 5,170 on July 10 from 1,120 the previous day.

Cardano stablecoin market jumps nearly 15% as USDCx inflows boost liquidity

Cardano’s stablecoin market grew 14.67% in a week to $60.39 million, helped by large USDCx inflows and new issuance, data cited by The Crypto Basic showed. An unidentified user moved more than $10 million of USDCx to Cardano. USDCx now accounts for $35.85 million, or 59.38%, of Cardano stablecoins. TVL rose to about $82 million before slipping to around $75 million as ADA fell.
