Anthropic to launch website and presentation design tool, targeting Gamma and Figma
Anthropic may release its next flagship model, Claude Opus 4.7, and an AI-based website and presentation design tool within this week, The Information reported on April 14, citing a source familiar with the matter. After the report, shares of Adobe, Wix and Figma fell more than 2 percent. The tool is expected to let developers and non-developers create presentations, websites and landing pages using natural-language prompts.

Snowflake steps up strategy to run AI work inside its data platform
Snowflake is speeding up a strategy aimed at keeping AI work inside its own platform rather than sending data out to external AI systems. Moves in that direction include a $200 million partnership with OpenAI, the acquisition of Observe AI and the unveiling of Project Snowwork. Snowflake has also integrated Google’s Gemini model into its CortexAI inference service and introduced Snowflake Postgres for AI agents.

Google launches AI design product; Figma shares fall 11 percent over two days
Shares of online design platform Figma fell 11 percent over two days after Google released its AI-based design tool, Stitch. Figma shares are down 35 percent so far this year as competition intensifies with the spread of AI. Stitch generates designs from user prompts and supports voice commands and real-time feedback. It is available as a free beta, with no commercialization timetable disclosed.
