Google is expanding access to its AI-based video creation tool Flow. Flow was previously available only to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers, but business, enterprise and education Workspace users can now use it, The Block reported on Jan. 16 (local time).
Flow uses Google's AI video generation model Veo 3.1 to produce 8-second clips from text prompts or images. Users can stitch them together to make longer videos. It also supports editing features such as lighting adjustments, camera angle changes and object insertion and deletion. Support for vertical video was added recently.
Google added audio features to Flow from late last year. Users can generate audio based on image references, add transition sounds between scenes and extend clips. The Block also reported that Nano Banana Pro, an AI image-generation tool, has been integrated into Flow and can be used to create characters or set clip starting points.
