Agentic interface race heats up as services follow where data sits

Snowflake said at its Snowflake Summit 2026 that it aims to expand beyond data storage and analytics to become a gateway for enterprises using AI agents. Snowflake agentic OS-style strategy gains traction, AI brand overhauled

Snowflake on June 1 held its annual Snowflake Summit 2026 in San Francisco and unveiled a range of new products targeting the AI agent market, while revamping its branding. It renamed Snowflake Intelligence to CoWork and rebranded its coding agent Cortex Code as CoCo. Four things to watch on the road to an agentic enterprise

Snowflake is using “Agentic Enterprise” as a keyword to represent its vision as it evolves beyond data analytics into an enterprise AI agent platform. CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy said at Snowflake Summit 2026 that agentic enterprises are feasible and that the company will focus on supporting AI-agent-led work while removing obstacles. He outlined four elements: enterprise data, AI models, applications and an agentic control plane.
