Shinhan Financial Chairman Jin Ok-dong volunteers in Seoul Station shantytown

Shinhan Financial Group Chairman Jin Ok-dong (진옥동) took part in volunteer work to help residents of the Seoul Station shantytown stay healthy through the summer. Shinhan Financial said it carried out the activity on June 30 at the Seoul Station Shantytown Counseling Center in Yongsan, Seoul, with Jin and group affiliate CEOs. It donated a refrigerator to the center’s “Ongi Warehouse” sharing space and sponsored summer daily necessities for 811 residents.

Shinhan Bank launches refinancing loan for savings bank credit loans

Shinhan Bank has launched a refinancing loan product aimed at reducing financing costs for mid to low-credit customers using savings bank credit loans. The bank said the inclusive finance product, Shinhan Sangsaeng Refinancing Loan 2, expands support under Shinhan Financial Group\'s Bring Up & Value Up project. Eligible borrowers include wage earners with at least 1 year in their job and annual income of at least 20 million won.
