Kakao expands KakaoTools partners to 10, adds 7 services
Kakao said on Thursday it added services from seven external partners to KakaoTools, its AI agent service within ChatGPT for Kakao. The newly added partners are Daisomall, Looksroo, Spacecloud, Shinsegae Duty Free, Shinhan Card, LF Mall and Cheongyeon. Including OP.GG, Zigbang and HanaTour, which were linked earlier, KakaoTools now has 10 external partners. Kakao said 28 services are connected in total and it plans to keep expanding.

SKT launches AI for Everyone consortium to link AI services across eight sectors
SK Telecom will step up development of “AI for Everyone” by working with specialist companies and institutions across eight sectors including finance, education, healthcare, small businesses and mobility. The company said it held the consortium’s launch event on Sept. 9 at its T Tower in central Seoul. The project aims to build an end-to-end execution agent that analyses user requests and situations, connects suitable AI models and specialist services, and carries out follow-up work.

Habit Factory joins SKT \'Everyone\'s AI\' to develop finance AI agent
Fintech company Habit Factory is joining SK Telecom\'s \'Everyone\'s AI\' consortium to develop a mydata-based financial AI service. The company will take charge of implementing an asset management and retirement planning service that combines mydata and AI agents, analysing banking, card, securities and insurance information along with retirement and personal pension data. The SKT consortium plans to build services using domestic AI models and launch them this year after an October beta.
