How to respond to AI-driven security threats? Tech firms expand alliance

Debate is intensifying over how to respond to new security threats emerging from the spread of AI, with alliances expanding beyond security firms to include semiconductor and platform companies. Nvidia-led Open Secure AI Alliance formed a first working group and released proposals for confidential reporting and post-incident analysis. Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue called for mandatory disclosure of hacks targeting AI firms. Reports and tests also raised concerns about AI misuse, vulnerabilities and faster exploitation.

ServiceNow unveils six autonomous security products, from vulnerability response to compliance

ServiceNow has unveiled six autonomous security products and an AI security agent lineup following its acquisitions of Armis and Vectra. The products are designed to carry processes such as vulnerability handling and incident response through to closure without analysts needing to intervene at every step. ServiceNow said it integrated the two companies into its Autonomous Security and Risk portfolio in May and expanded it with the new offerings.

Shunned software shares rebound; Jim Cramer says AI infrastructure stocks could be next

Enterprise software shares once shunned on Wall Street have rebounded quickly on earnings, fuelling expectations that battered AI infrastructure stocks could be the next candidates for a turnaround. CNBC reported that Jim Cramer pointed to a sharp recovery in software this month while data centre-related shares slid. He cited ServiceNow’s recent results as a turning point for sentiment and said further declines can raise valuation appeal. He highlighted Vertiv as down about 40 percent from its May 14 peak.
