Parliament science panel files complaint against Lee Jin-sook over \'Choi Min-hee wedding invitation\' perjury claim
South Korea\'s parliamentary Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee voted on Jan. 29, led by the Democratic Party, to file complaints against six people over alleged perjury or failure to appear at last year’s National Assembly audit. They include former Korea Communications Commission chair Lee Jin-sook and TV Home Shopping Association head Lee Sang-rok. The panel also voted to complain against a Coupang legal executive for alleged perjury at hearings on a personal data leak.

National Assembly science committee recommends Hong Mi-ae, Koo Jong-sang, Kim Il-gon to media review body
South Korea\'s National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee on Thursday approved a motion to recommend 3 people as members of the Broadcasting, Media and Telecommunications Review Committee: former Sejong City Viewer Media Center head Hong Mi-ae, former Korea Communications Standards Commission member Koo Jong-sang and former Gyeongnam MBC president Kim Il-gon. The three were selected through talks between the ruling and opposition parties. The new body will have 9 members.
