Schneider Electric Korea joins government smart factory program
Schneider Electric Korea has been registered as an official supplier on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ smart factory project management system. The registration allows the company to participate in smart factory construction projects and provide related solutions for small and midsized manufacturers in South Korea. The company said it plans to offer smart manufacturing solutions and services focused on digitisation, energy efficiency optimisation and operational stability.

Schneider Electric expands enterprise support with software-defined automation
Schneider Electric Korea said it will push ahead with expanding AI and software-based industrial automation solutions. It plans to structure process, automation and power systems into “Optimize-Operate-Onboard” layers to integrate and analyse dispersed operating data in real time using AI. The company said the approach is intended to improve overall operational visibility and efficiency. It also said it will develop its vision as an “Energy Technology Partner” that designs and operates customers’ industrial environments.

Schneider Electric to unveil AI-based automation strategy at AW 2026
Schneider Electric Korea said on Wednesday it will participate in the 2026 Smart Factory and Automation Industry Expo (AW 2026) to be held at COEX in Seoul from March 4 to 6. It plans to present a software-centric automation vision and AI-based process optimisation. The booth will feature demos of the ETAP power digital twin and the AVEVA digital twin and data visualisation platform, as well as open automation software EAE and other solutions.
