ASICLand posts 5 billion won first-half operating profit, returns to profit
ASICLand said on Monday it posted first-half revenue of 113.7 billion won and operating profit of 5 billion won. Revenue rose 273 percent from 30.5 billion won a year earlier and exceeded its full-year 2025 revenue of 72.8 billion won in six months. The company swung from an operating loss and recorded net profit of 6.3 billion won, helped by new large projects, mass production and higher overseas sales.

Park Jung-ho, an executive advisory member at SK Hynix and former vice chairman, received 26.5 billion won in the 18 months after leaving, according to a half-year report filed on Aug. 14. His pay totalled 9.61 billion won in 2025 and 16.9 billion won in the first half of 2026, largely from settlement of long-term incentives granted while he was a registered executive. The company estimated unpaid SARs and performance shares at 288.1 billion won.

SK Hynix CEO Kawk No-jeong (곽노정) received 26.1 billion won in the first half of 2026, while Samsung Electronics CEO Jeon Young-hyun (전영현) received 2.4 billion won, according to the companies’ semiannual filings. SK Hynix’s directors and auditors received 33.6 billion won in total compensation, with 79.3 percent tied to stock-based rewards. Samsung Electronics reported no unexercised stock options granted to its directors, auditors or executive officers as of mid-2026.
