Kawasaki begins official development of four-legged robot \'Corleo\' for 2030 commercialisation
Kawasaki Heavy Industries has begun official development aimed at commercialising Corleo, a four-legged walking robot for personal mobility, an electric-vehicle outlet reported. Corleo was first unveiled at the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 and drew attention after a CGI video logged 1.2 billion exposures on social media. Kawasaki set up a direct-to-president business development team and is also building related software, targeting 2030 for a global debut of a functional prototype.

Kakao Mobility to export parking solution to Saudi Diriyah
Kakao Mobility will supply an integrated parking solution to Saudi Arabia\'s smart city development, signing a paid proof-of-concept contract for the Diriyah project on Feb. 23. The company will first build solutions for three key zones with about 5,000 parking spaces as an initial step toward a system designed to accommodate more than 60,000 vehicles. If the PoC is completed successfully, it plans to expand the solution across Diriyah\'s mobility hubs.

Hanwha presents localisation model for Saudi Vision 2030 defense drive
Three Hanwha defense affiliates will take part in the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh to present AI-based integrated weapon systems and solutions spanning land, sea, air and space. Hanwha Systems will unveil a new multipurpose radar and display air-defense and laser systems, as well as AI-based combat and ship concepts. Hanwha Aerospace will debut a loitering precision-guided weapon and show a Saudi-tailored K9A1. Hanwha Ocean will present submarine and naval packages.
