Why even happy memories fade: brain\'s selective storage mechanism identified

A study suggests people forget even pleasant memories not because the brain runs out of storage, but because it selectively takes in information and continuously reconstructs memories. Anatomy professor Michelle Spear at the University of Bristol said memory can differ widely between people even after the same experience. The brain does not store experiences like a computer and instead filters what to keep based on attention and emotion, then rebuilds memories during recall.

JobKorea, Albamon rank No. 1 in job-search platform MAU in first quarter

JobKorea and Albamon, operated by Worxphere, ranked No. 1 among South Korean job-search apps by monthly active users, a survey showed. Joint analysis by JobKorea and Mobile Index found JobKorea logged about 5.54 million MAU in the first quarter, ahead of Saramin, Remember, Incruit and Wanted. JobKorea said job applications rose 13 percent from a year earlier, while Albamon applications increased about 8 percent.

KB Financial Group said on April 10 that the official video for its public-participation campaign, \"Rewrite Daehan Lived Again\", has topped 10 million cumulative views about a month after its release. The project expands a campaign launched by KB Kookmin Bank in 2019 to revisit the meaning of liberation and the independence movement. KB Financial will build donations by setting aside 2,026 won per share or like.
