Humanoid robot commercialisation still far off; industry cites 5 challenges

Humanoid robots are drawing attention as a next-generation industry, but analysts say gradual field deployment is needed rather than rushed commercialisation. TechRadar said the sector could eventually rival automotive and computing, but remains short of mass adoption due to technology, cost and regulation. It urged a “crawl, walk, run” approach.
