Socar launches pilot service bundling parking and charging for EV users

Socar said it has signed an agreement with Softberry to pilot a linked parking and charging service in some areas of Seoul for about three months. The companies decided to bundle the two services, citing their close connection in EV users’ daily routines. Everyone’s Parking Lot will offer an EV-only product that adds Softberry’s EV Pay charging benefits to monthly parking passes. Users can access 600 kWh per month after registration and card issuance.

Lucasmeta launches autonomous security AI agent

Lucasmeta, an official Google Cloud technology partner, said on Thursday it has launched a fully autonomous cyber defense agent designed to quickly block intruders physically. The company said it developed the next-generation PQCSAFE Autonomous Cyber Defense agent in collaboration with Google headquarters\' Agent Factory and its partner engineering team. It said the product passed Google\'s three key reviews and a final evaluation, and is now available on Gemini Enterprise and the Google Cloud Marketplace.

FSC says approval process for fractional investment OTC exchange was fair, shares operators\' frustration

South Korea’s Financial Services Commission said its preliminary licensing process for a fractional-investment over-the-counter exchange was conducted fairly, while acknowledging the frustration felt by Lucentblock after failing to win approval. During a parliamentary audit, lawmaker Min Byung-deok questioned whether sandbox firms’ results are properly recognised in institutionalisation. The FSC noted the relevant law allows, but does not require, a review panel to be consulted when a firm seeks formal authorisation.
