JoyCity launches new title \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack\'
JoyCity said it will start official service on April 28 for \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack,\' a historical MMORPG developed by Red Ginkgo Games. The title was developed by director Kim Tae-gon, known for \'Imjinrok\' and \'Gersang.\' It features an encounter-based combat system combining real heroes and weapons, with real-time control. The game includes field sieges, naval battles and an economy system. JoyCity also named history lecturer Choi Tae-sung as a promotional model and will run a launch event offering in-game items.

JoyCity said on Tuesday it has begun pre-registrations for the historical massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack\' ahead of its official launch. Developed by Red Ginkgo Games, an affiliate of Endream, the game is directed by Kim Tae-gon (김태곤). It is based on the 1592 Imjin War and features battlefields involving Joseon, Japan and Ming China. It is slated for release globally in the first half of 2026 on mobile and PC.

Joycity confirms official title \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack\' for new MMORPG
Joycity said on Thursday it has confirmed the official title of a new massively multiplayer online role-playing game being developed by Red Ginkgo Games, an affiliate of Ndream, as \'Imjin War: Joseon\'s Counterattack\'. The Korea-history MMORPG was previously known under the working title \'Project Imjin\' and is overseen by director Kim Tae-gon (김태곤). The game features collecting and training 36 real commanders from Joseon, Japan and Ming, and is due for release in the first half of this year on mobile and PC.
