China speeds up commercial rollout of Level 4 autonomous logistics for urban delivery and long-haul freight

Uncrewed logistics systems combining electrification and autonomous driving are moving into commercial use in China, from urban delivery to long-haul freight. Robot vans are expanding in major cities and Level 4 autonomous trucks are being deployed more broadly. At the Beijing auto show, companies including MINIEYE and QCraft unveiled new Level 4 robovan models. Carl Dynamics introduced its KargoBot Space truck and cited transport performance and range claims.

Qualcomm unveils mobility AI, IoT and robotics platforms at CES

Qualcomm Technologies unveiled vehicle AI, IoT edge computing and humanoid robotics platforms at CES 2026. It expanded its Snapdragon Digital Chassis and presented agentic AI-based vehicle technology. Snapdragon cockpit and driving platforms were adopted in multiple programs, while Ride Flex was described as a first commercial SoC integrating cockpit and ADAS workloads. Qualcomm also introduced a 5G modem-RF, a V2X solution with Hyundai Mobis, new Dragonwing IoT processors and a robotics stack architecture.
