SOOP posts Q2 operating profit of 12.6 billion won, to bolster streamer ecosystem, AI and ads
SOOP said it will push a platform overhaul in the second half focused on attracting new streamers and boosting user engagement. The company plans to introduce a system where streamers discover and foster new creators, roll out AI-based UI and UX changes, and build an integrated marketing consulting brand by combining advertising capabilities across affiliates. SOOP reported second-quarter revenue of 103.8 billion won and operating profit of 12.6 billion won, both down from a year earlier.

Bitcoin long-term holder selling slows to lowest since Q3 2022
Bitcoin long-term holders’ selling activity slowed noticeably in the second quarter, with the volume of long-dormant bitcoin moving falling to its lowest level since the third quarter of 2022, Cointelegraph reported. Data disclosed by Galaxy Digital’s head of firmwide research, Alex Thorn, showed key indicators easing, including Coin Days Destroyed. The shift suggests long-term holders are distributing less and continuing to hold rather than bringing coins to market.

Claude usage patterns differ by time and purpose between weekdays and weekends
Anthropic released a report analysing how users actually use Claude across Claude.ai, Claude Code and API services. It found personal use rises on weekends across all services, while weekday use skews more toward work. Daily conversation increases overnight, while work-related use grows from morning to afternoon. The report also identified topic-based peaks, a surge in U.S. tax queries before April 15, and differences by gender and income.
