Apple HomeView core features require latest iPhone, iPad

Apple’s new HomeView home hub sells for $299, but fully using the key AI features shown in demonstrations requires additional conditions. Personalization and camera AI features need certain recent iPhone or iPad models, and some functions also require an iCloud+ subscription. HomeView launches on Nov. 13 with a 7-inch touchscreen in wall-mount and tabletop versions. Apple adds Siri Recap to Apple Watch, raising privacy concerns over always-listening AI
