NHN wraps up NAN 2026 game, AI hackathon; finals competition ratio 59 to 1

NHN said on Tuesday it has finished its recruitment-linked hackathon, Next AI Network 2026 (NAN 2026), aimed at discovering game and AI talent. Ten teams advanced to the finals after a preliminary assignment review. The competition ratio for a finals berth was about 59 to 1, and visitors to the application page exceeded 150,000. The finals were held Sept. 4 to 6 at NHN’s PlayMuseum in Pangyo.

NHN lights up blue on building exterior for World Autism Awareness Day

NHN said on Thursday it joined the Blue Light Campaign to mark the 18th World Autism Awareness Day by using the exterior of its Pangyo headquarters, Playmuseum. The United Nations has designated April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day to raise awareness of autism spectrum disorders and help autistic people and their families. NHN has participated in the campaign since 2019 and also joined Earth Hour last month.
