Founders Fund sells entire stake in Ethereum treasury firm ETHZilla
Founders Fund led by Peter Thiel has fully exited Ethereum treasury company ETHZilla, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 18. The venture firm was reported to hold 7.5 percent of ETHZilla in August 2025, but recent documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showed its stake at 0 percent. ETHZilla raised $425 million and later issued $350 million in convertible bonds, but sold 24,291 ether in December 2025.

Capital One to acquire B2B fintech Brex for $5.15 billion
U.S. bank Capital One will acquire fintech unicorn Brex for $5.15 billion, TechCrunch reported on Thursday. The deal values Brex at less than half its $12.3 billion valuation in its 2022 Series D-2 round. TechCrunch said early investors such as Ribbit Capital, Y Combinator, Kleiner Perkins and Peter Thiel made more than 700 times their money, while later investors underperformed as rival Ramp grew rapidly.
