FSC to urgently check payment gateway security risks, including indirect attacks via merchants

A proposal has called for establishing trading standards and investor protection systems to expand financial products and services using digital assets. Toss Payments signs strategic MOU with Visa to boost payment competitiveness at home and abroad

Toss Payments, Toss’s payment gateway affiliate, is moving to cooperate with global payments company Visa to strengthen payment security and advance services. Toss Payments said on Sept. 8 it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Visa on Sept. 7 in Seoul’s Gangnam district. The two companies plan to explore cooperation in domestic and overseas payment markets, based on their technologies, operating capabilities and global networks.
