Strike founder Jack Mallers steps down as Twenty One CEO, merger plan halted

Jack Mallers (잭 말러스) has stepped down as chief executive of Twenty One Capital to focus on bitcoin payments firm Strike, which he founded and runs. His departure also halted a merger plan being reviewed by Twenty One and Strike, CryptoSlate reported. Board member Rafael Zagury will succeed him, and Tether said the handover is being carried out in an orderly way. Twenty One held 43,514 bitcoin valued at about $2.95 billion as of March 31.
