Toss Place, a Toss subsidiary that supplies payment terminals and POS solutions, is partnering with BNK Kyongnam Bank to expand payment infrastructure for small merchants in South Gyeongsang Province. The companies signed an MOU to support the local economy. They plan to cooperate on payment service technology, expand merchant infrastructure and conduct joint marketing. They also plan to broaden cooperation through local governments, agencies and franchises and explore services linking local finance and payments.

Hana Financial Group has set up a “digital career exploration classroom” at Milal School in Seoul to support career exploration and job training for students with developmental disabilities. The classroom uses humanoid robots, virtual reality devices and other digital tools to simulate workplace tasks such as customer service and payments. The group plans to expand the project to special schools in Incheon and Daejeon by the first half of next year and will also run support programs for special-school staff.
