MiniPay launches Visa debit card, allows stablecoin payments
MiniPay, Opera\'s stablecoin wallet service, has launched a Visa debit card and is seeking to expand real-world use of stablecoins. Cointelegraph reported the card will be available across parts of Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia and Europe, allowing users to pay for goods and services with stablecoins. The card runs on Gnosis Pay infrastructure and lets merchants receive local currency via the Visa network. MiniPay is built on the Celo blockchain.

DLive TV to distribute local content to 20 countries via Prime Video
DLive TV, which operates DLive’s regional channels, will provide its original content to global viewers in 20 countries through Amazon Prime Video, it said on Wednesday. Since March 26, it has been distributing five programmes including “Forest of Wisdom” and “The Docent” to markets such as the United States, Britain, Canada and Australia. It plans to upload 72 episodes sequentially.

Sierra acquires France AI startup Fragment
Customer-service AI agent startup Sierra has acquired French startup Fragment, TechCrunch reported on April 23 local time. Fragment helps companies integrate AI into their work flows. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. PitchBook estimates Fragment raised about $2 million in a seed round. The transaction is Sierra’s third disclosed acquisition. Sierra also bought Japan’s Opera Tech and voice-agent company Receptive AI in late March.
