Customer-service AI agent startup Sierra has acquired French startup Fragment, TechCrunch reported on April 23 local time.
Fragment is a startup that helps companies integrate AI into their work flows.
The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Startup investment data service PitchBook estimates Fragment raised about $2 million in a seed round.
The deal is Sierra’s third disclosed acquisition. Sierra also acquired Japan-based enterprise AI solutions company Opera Tech and voice-agent company Receptive AI in late March.
Sierra said it counts Casper, Clear and Brex among its clients. It has raised more than $630 million so far from investors including Sequoia and Benchmark, and is valued at $10 billion.
