OpenClo 2.0, an open-source AI agent tool, has been released, marking the first major update since OpenAI hired its developer Peter Steinberger. The update focuses on usability, stronger state retention, simpler installation and tighter security. It introduces a unified dashboard, new widgets and improved search across past chats. Collaboration expands through shared cloud sessions that let teammates join ongoing work. Security changes include trust boundaries, least-privilege controls and protections against prompt abuse.

Cafe24 said it signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Korea Vocational Training School on Aug. 20 to foster AI-ready practical talent. Under the deal, the two sides will integrate Cafe24\'s AI infrastructure into training programmes, including its AI Space and an LLM Router-based practice environment. They will run project-based courses using Cafe24 AI agents, jointly develop curricula and content, and provide accounts, guides, lectures and mentoring. They also plan startup and employment linkage programmes.
