Cafe24 is joining hands with a vocational training institution to train practical AI talent. Cafe24 said on Aug. 21 it signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement (MOU) with Korea Vocational Training School on Aug. 20 to foster AI talent. Korea Vocational Training School, a Ministry of Employment and Labor-certified vocational training institution established in 1998, has operated step-by-step practical training programmes in IT fields including AI, full-stack, web and app development.

Under the agreement, the two sides will fully incorporate Cafe24's AI infrastructure into the curriculum. Through AI Space, which supports everything from code generation to service deployment based on conversations with AI, Cafe24 will provide an environment where trainees can implement their outputs as real services. It will also support a practice environment based on LLM Router, an AI operations infrastructure that helps users connect more than 120 AI models through a single API for integrated use.

The training will cover the entire process from project execution to deployment. The two sides will run project-based training using Cafe24's AI agents, OpenClo and Hermes Agent, and jointly develop AI training content and curricula. Cafe24 will provide training accounts and usage guides, and also support special lectures and mentoring by working-level practitioners.

Korea Vocational Training School plans to incorporate Cafe24 services into its curriculum and project practice so trainees can experience actual service development and improvement processes. The two sides also plan to cooperate in running AI startup and employment linkage programmes to build an education ecosystem.

Kim Jae-eun (김재은), head of Cafe24's business platform team, said, "As AI technology is rapidly being applied at industrial sites, it is becoming more important to cultivate talent that can use AI in real projects and work." She said, "We will continue cooperation so that, based on Cafe24's AI infrastructure and Korea Vocational Training School's educational capabilities, we can build a practice-oriented training environment where trainees directly use AI and complete outputs."
