EV batteries keep over 90 percent capacity after 150,000 km; seven models stand out
Electric vehicle batteries still keep the low-90 percent range of their initial capacity after about 150,000 km of driving, an analysis showed. EV diagnostics firm Aviloo compared retention rates for 20 major EV models using more than 500,000 battery health checks conducted from 2022 to 2026 across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. The results indicate degradation is generally gradual, though differences by model were large.

HanbitSoft posts Q2 operating profit of 600 million won, up 1.8 percent year-on-year
HanbitSoft said on Thursday it posted consolidated second-quarter revenue of 6.7 billion won and operating profit of 600 million won, with net profit of 1.1 billion won. Revenue fell 43.2 percent from a year earlier, while operating profit rose 1.8 percent and net profit gained 8 percent. First-half consolidated revenue totalled 15.3 billion won, with operating profit of 2.8 billion won and net profit of 3.9 billion won.

Tesla launches free lifetime Supercharging contest, picks 9 winners worldwide
Tesla has launched a global event offering free Supercharging for as long as winners own their vehicles, selecting only nine people worldwide. Winners will be chosen in three regions, with China excluded and some countries unable to participate. The contest ranks drivers by longest continuous travel between Supercharger sites in 24 hours, most unique sites visited this year and most energy charged. Some owners, employees and ride-hailing or delivery users are excluded.
