NCSoft said on Thursday its time survival shooter Time Takers will run its first closed beta test (CBT).

NCSoft on Thursday announced the CBT schedule through a new Time Takers video. The CBT will be held March 13-21 local time for eight countries in North and South America: the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and Peru. It set the first CBT region by considering the shooter genre's influence and market share in North and South America.

Players can participate in the CBT through global PC game distribution platform Steam. It will run for 8 hours each day for intensive matchmaking. Players outside North and South America can also take part if they receive a CBT key through Time Takers' official Discord channel. NCSoft plans to review global operating plans and server stability through the test, then check player feedback and reflect it in development.

Players joining the test will play Trio Mode, played in teams of 3. Time Takers is a new title in the time survival shooter genre. Its features include unique rules that use time energy as a resource, a range of characters with different narratives and distinctive skills, and diverse play styles through combinations of multiple weapons and passive apps that provide lasting in-game effects.
