SOOP said on Monday it will integrate services that had been operated separately for South Korea and global markets into a single platform and roll out “One SOOP,” allowing users and streamers worldwide to use the same environment.

Since launching its global platform, SOOP has expanded across areas including upgrading its technical infrastructure, collaborating with overseas streamers and partner companies, and producing global content. The integration applies that operating experience to its domestic platform. It aims to connect major regional communities within a single platform, including South Korea, Southeast Asia, Taiwan and North and South America, and to boost global operating synergies.

The integrated platform will strengthen real-time global communication features. It supports 5 languages: Korean, English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Thai and others. SOOP plans to lower language barriers by applying AI-based automatic translation and subtitle functions. The features will be available on major devices including PCs, mobile phones, smart TVs and tablets.

In content, SOOP will expand global co-participation formats. It will strengthen multilingual broadcasts of major League of Legends leagues, including the LCK, LEC, LPL, LCS and CBLOL, as well as various esports tournaments such as Valorant, PUBG and Tekken, alongside joint streams and global participation content involving domestic and overseas streamers. It also plans to expand global sports content in stages, including overseas broadcasts of KBO games and the UMB World Cup.

Alongside the platform integration, SOOP will also reinforce its global support system for streamers. It will systematically support overseas streamers from onboarding through activity, while also planning to expand opportunities for domestic streamers to work overseas and produce joint content based on cooperation with regional partner companies.

Chief Executive Choi Young-woo said, “This platform integration is part of the process of creating a new ecosystem that connects through content beyond regions and languages.” He added, “We will continue to expand global synergies so that users and streamers around the world can naturally interact and grow together within One SOOP.”
