SKT presents paper on AI inference model to find customers\' true preferences at global AI conference

SK Telecom said on April 28 it presented a paper at ICLR 2026 on an AI recommendation model designed to identify customers\' true preferences. The company said its proprietary Collision-Aware Preference Optimization technique filters out conflicting preferences in user behavior data. It defines long-term repeated patterns as consistent preferences and one-off clicks as superficial preferences, raising weights when they match and lowering them when they conflict.

Adam Back says Satoshi documentary lacks evidence, early mining data cannot pinpoint identity

Adam Back, known as an early bitcoin developer, rejected key claims in a documentary on Satoshi Nakamoto’s bitcoin holdings and identity. He said the so-called Patoshi pattern used to infer early mining activity has major flaws and cannot reliably separate Satoshi’s blocks from others as mining became distributed. Back also said there is no proof Satoshi never sold. He criticised the documentary’s shifting suspects and cited technical and timeline issues surrounding candidates including Hal Finney and Len Sassaman.

Line Games unveils comedy horror title \'Quiet\' for Steam release this year

Line Games said on Thursday it has unveiled \'Quiet\', a self-developed PC comedy horror game. Players take the role of a duck alien who crash-lands on Earth and tries to escape while avoiding surveillance by a boss character described as a grandmother. The game supports 1 to 4 players and features noise accumulation from movement, interaction and voice actions, which increases the boss’s pursuit speed. Line Games plans to release a demo and launch the full game on Steam this year.
