G-Star expands and AGF focuses as Korea game events diverge
Korea’s major game events G-Star and AGF are pursuing different strategies. G-Star is expanding its exhibition scope to include AI services and more overseas and indie developers, while AGF is reinforcing fan-focused marketing by centring displays on upcoming releases and existing intellectual property. This year G-Star will be held in Busan and AGF in Goyang. NCSoft, last year’s main sponsor of G-Star, is serving as AGF’s main sponsor.

Capcom to attend G-Star 2026, first Korea playable demo of \'Rockman\' and \'Monster Hunter\'
Capcom will attend G-Star 2026, to be held in Busan from Nov. 19 to 22, the event\'s organising committee said. Capcom will set up an exhibition area of about 35 booths in the BTC Hall 2 venue and run demos of major new titles. Visitors will be able to try \'Rockman: Dual Override\' and \'Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance\' in Korea for the first time.

G-Star 2026 expands global and indie exhibitions, releases venue floor plans
G-Star 2026, set for November in Busan, will fill six large booth zones in BEXCO’s first exhibition hall and expand displays in the second hall focused on global game companies and indie games. Organisers released floor plans and key content including exhibits, e-sports tournaments, conferences and online programmes. A new global game showcase and an enlarged indie area will debut, while the BTB hall is revamped to strengthen networking and add an investment programme.
