Naver Pay to improve small merchant payment environment with Npay Connect

Naver Pay will work with the Small Business Hope Foundation to improve digital payment infrastructure at small merchants’ stores. Naver Pay said it signed a business agreement on July 1 at the foundation in Seoul to promote digital transformation and greater use of digital tools by small merchants. The partners plan cooperation projects to improve payment environments and operational efficiency, centered on the offline integrated terminal Npay Connect.

KT marks 7th anniversary of easy payment service with event giving away gold

KT is running a month-long July event to mark the seventh anniversary of its easy-payment mobile bill payment service. Customers who immediately pay at least 10,000 won of KT telecom charges via Kakao Pay, Naver Pay, Toss Pay or Payco will be automatically entered. KT will draw 7,777 winners to receive 7,000 points from the payment provider used, and 7 winners to receive 3.75 grams of pure gold. Prizes are due by late August.

Naver Pay\'s Npay Connect tops 100,000 merchants

Naver Pay said its offline integrated terminal, Npay Connect, has surpassed 100,000 merchants nationwide, seven months after its November launch. It added that 52,000 new merchants installed the terminal over the past three months. The company said a post-payment \"keyword review\" feature helped merchants collect reviews, with review counts rising after adoption across sectors. Restaurants account for the largest share of installations, and Seoul and the capital region make up about 43 percent.
