Naver Pay has introduced a service that allows small merchants to compare and analyse store sales and operating conditions in nearby commercial districts. It supports franchise store owners' operations by offering data ranging from hourly sales and delivery order trends to performance comparisons with similar businesses.
Naver Pay said on Wednesday it opened a beta of its sales and commercial district analysis service for franchise store owners, called 'Npay Biz Our Store Report'.
The service uses payment data from the offline integrated terminal 'Npay Connect' to analyse business conditions at stores and in surrounding areas, and is designed to help franchise store owners use the information for management.
Food and beverage franchise store owners who install Npay Connect and use Naver's 'Place Plus (place+)' can use it for free. Users can access it by searching for 'Our Store Report' on Naver or through the Npay Biz website.
The service consists of 4 areas: sales status comparisons, delivery order trends, comparisons with similar businesses and changes in commercial districts.
Naver Pay plans to add information that can be used for business operations, including customer interest levels and store competitiveness, by reflecting user feedback during the beta operation.
A Naver Pay official said, "We introduced this service so that small merchants can check 'how business is in our neighbourhood today' through data from various perspectives." The official added, "After the beta period, we will reflect owners' opinions and add information that is actually helpful for store operations."
