Naver Pay to support payment fees for small merchants using Npay Connect
Naver Pay will support on-site payment fees for micro and small merchants using its offline integrated terminal, Npay Connect. The company said it will refund fees for Npay Money and Points payments generated at eligible merchants rated micro or small under National Tax Service standards from Aug. 3 to Dec. 31. Merchants do not need to apply. Refunds will be calculated monthly and paid on the 15th of the following month to BC Card settlement accounts.

Park Yoon-young of KT says no decision on merging media affiliates
KT CEO Park Yoon-young (박윤영) said there has been no decision on integrating the company’s media affiliates, despite considering various options as circumstances change. He also said KT has not received any official request regarding a merger between Tving and Wavve, adding that any future request would be reviewed in light of market conditions and company interests. Park also outlined a “physical AI” plan and commented on an ongoing tax probe.

Naver Pay to support payment fees for micro merchants during summer holiday season
Naver Pay will support payment processing fees for micro merchants during a period of rising summer holiday demand. The programme covers eligible merchants using online and offline payments as well as Naver Reservation and Order merchants. Support applies from July 27 to Aug. 2, and merchants will be included automatically without a separate application. Fees incurred during the period will be totalled and paid in full in a lump sum in September.
