Saramin\'s KoMate builds Hanyang University international student employment management system

KoMate, a foreign hiring platform operated by Saramin, said on Monday it has built an international student employment management system for Hanyang University. The system supports real-time tracking and management of the full process from job search to employment. It links application data from Saramin and KoMate and also connects to the national health insurance database. The system provides analysis by department and nationality and supports extracting statistics for public disclosures and policy reports.

KB Kookmin Bank\'s KB Kookmin Certificate users top 18 million

KB Kookmin Bank said cumulative users of its private authentication certificate, KB Kookmin Certificate, have surpassed 18 million. The bank said the user base has expanded since the certificate was recognised as an electronic signature certification service provider in 2021. Users rose by 1 million in a year, after topping 17 million in August last year. The certificate can be issued without visiting a branch and is used for authentication, e-signatures and identity verification.

MSIT launches Gangwon AX shift focusing on healthcare and wellness

South Korea has begun planning a regional AI transition (AX) project to apply AI to Gangwon’s healthcare and wellness industry. The Ministry of Science and ICT said Deputy Prime Minister and MSIT Minister Bae Kyung-hoon attended a launch briefing in Seoul on Aug. 13. The project is part of the government’s “5 poles, 3 specials” regional AX initiative. Planning runs through end-2026, followed by a 2027 pilot and a 2028 full rollout.
