KoMate, a foreign hiring platform operated by Saramin, said on Monday it has built Hanyang University’s international student employment management system.
The KoMate system supports real-time tracking and management of the entire process from international students’ job search to employment. Saramin said Hanyang University, through the introduction of the system, has moved beyond the limits of its previous manual approach and established a data-based employment management framework.
The system can identify job-search activity status by linking in real time data from international students’ job applications on Saramin and KoMate, the company said. It also links to the national health insurance database. It provides employment indicator analysis by department and nationality and supports extracting statistics needed for university public disclosures and policy report writing.
A KoMate official at Saramin said, "The international student management system is a solution that improves the efficiency of administrative management while providing an objective and systematic data foundation for universities that have been eager to verify actual performance. Based on the technology and know-how accumulated by Saramin and KoMate, we will expand cooperation so that more universities can establish data-based international student employment management frameworks."
