Naver said on Jan. 26 it is improving user convenience through nationwide electronic document delivery.

Naver will send "health checkup forms and guidance notices" from that day as the first distributor of the National Health Insurance Service e-document. The forms and notices are sent to those eligible for health checkups in 2026. They allow users to check information including their screening details, cancer screening, metabolic syndrome and screening institutions.

Naver expanded options so documents can be viewed on PC and mobile web, starting in July, in addition to the Naver app, as the first certified electronic document intermediary to do so. Recipients can also view the health checkup forms and guidance notices on a PC via email. It also used text-to-speech technology to deliver the contents by voice to improve accessibility for older people.

Users can view not only the health checkup forms and guidance notices, but also more than about 350 types of documents through Naver e-documents, including metabolic syndrome notices, bills for the four major social insurance programs, and notices of eligibility changes for local subscribers.

Yoon-jae Na (나윤재), a Naver leader, said: "Over the past 5 years, Naver has safely sent more than about 700 types of e-documents, and this year as well it will provide convenient e-document services to 30 million people eligible for health checkups." He added: "We will continue to expand partnerships and advance our technology, and we will also actively work on ESG practices such as cutting carbon emissions by replacing paper bills."
