Tether’s stablecoin USDT has begun service on the Stellar network. Stellar users can access $180 billion in USDT liquidity through USDT0. The integration uses LayerZero’s OFT interoperability standard and aligns with Stellar’s focus on digital asset transfers and cross-border payments. Stellar has been expanding stablecoins, tokenised real-world assets and institutional infrastructure, including MoneyGram’s MGUSD launch in June.

MoneyGram has expanded its cryptocurrency cash deposit and withdrawal service, Ramps, to the Solana network. Solana-based wallets, exchanges and developers can add cash-to-cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency-to-cash functions through MoneyGram’s payment network. Ramps previously operated only on Stellar, making Solana the second supported blockchain. MoneyGram said it offers services to more than 60 million people through about 500,000 retail locations in more than 170 countries.
