KB Financial Welfare Foundation signs scholarship support deal with justice ministry for children of fallen or injured civil servants
KB Financial Welfare Foundation said on Sunday it signed an agreement with South Korea\'s Ministry of Justice to support scholarships and tailored financial education for children of ministry officials who died or were injured in the line of duty. The foundation plans continuous support from the first year of middle school through high school graduation. The deal also includes financial education for ministry members and people protected in detention facilities.

Voice phishing incidents, losses fall for fourth straight month
South Korea said voice phishing crimes fell for four consecutive months after a government-wide crackdown launched last year. Incidents declined 25.0 percent to 6,108 and losses dropped 22.4 percent to 350.8 billion won from a year earlier. The government warned scams could spread further across social media and messaging services. It plans tighter cooperation with platforms, enhanced fraud detection systems and expanded international coordination.

MSIT wraps up agency briefings, steps up public communication with live disclosure
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT said it live-streamed three days of briefings from 55 agencies to disclose its push for a national transformation based on science and AI.
