Cohesity to extend enterprise AI resilience with AI workloads, evolving from backup to data insights platform
AI-based data security company Cohesity is accelerating its Enterprise AI Resilience strategy, extending data protection and security capabilities into the AI ecosystem. CEO Sanjay Poonen (산제이 푸넨) said companies need confidence they can manage AI-driven risks and recover quickly from disruptions. Cohesity said it protects AI and agent infrastructure, supports sensitive-data governance and integrates with ServiceNow and Datadog for API-based recovery. It also plans AI analytics on protected data and announced MCP-based federated semantic search and the Cohesity Gaia Catalog.

Microsoft 365, loaded with agents, aims to overhaul business app experience
Microsoft on Wednesday put forward “frontier transformation” as a theme at its AI Tour Seoul event, pitching Copilot and agents as technologies to make it real. The company recently unveiled Microsoft 365 Copilot Wave 3, shifting AI from a chat partner to an agent embedded in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook that can execute tasks. It also introduced Copilot Cowork, an IQ intelligence layer for agentic AI, and Agent 365 for enterprise management.

Mcloudbridge targets AI and BI market with conversational data agent
Mcloudbridge, a company specialising in an AI-integrated work platform, said on March 10 it will strengthen its push into the next-generation AI and business intelligence market with its conversational analytics solution, Ai 365 Data Agent. The company said the platform connects data sources including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake and Azure and provides querying, analysis, visualisation and insights via natural-language questions. It also supports follow-on task automation through Power Automate integration.
