Uber unveils 10-year list of bizarre items left behind in rides

Uber released data on items left behind in its vehicles over the past 10 years, with mobile phones the most commonly forgotten. Wallets, luggage, keys and headphones also ranked highly. The company also listed unusual items including dentures, breast milk, live butterflies and wedding dresses. It named a 75-gallon aquarium its most distinctive item for 2026. Uber said its in-app reporting and return function is available in some U.S. states and will expand nationwide this year.

Bitcoin holds near $73,000 as BNB jumps 12 percent on spot ETF launch

Binance Coin surged nearly 12 percent in a day, drawing attention in the cryptocurrency market, while bitcoin held near $73,000 with a modest gain. The move followed asset manager VanEck’s launch of a U.S. spot BNB exchange-traded fund, the first such product in the United States. Gains came despite macro headwinds including the prolonged Iran situation and rising U.S. Treasury yields.

Tesla unmonitored robotaxi fleet shrinks to about 20 vehicles

Tesla’s fleet of unmonitored robotaxis has recently declined, with 20 vehicles counted over the past seven days, and its overall ride-hail fleet down to 34, Electric reported. Tracker data showed 14 unmonitored vehicles in Austin and three each in Dallas and Houston, down from about 25 in late April. The number of ride-hail vehicles in California’s Bay Area fell to nine from 107 in April, pulling total active ride-hail vehicles down from 165.
