Tesla targets Q2 2027 rollout of unsupervised FSD for customers

Tesla has set the second quarter of 2027 as the target for introducing unsupervised Full Self-Driving (FSD) for customer-owned vehicles. The plan does not envisage privately owned cars driving anywhere without driver intervention through a software update. Instead, owners would need to place their vehicles into Tesla’s managed robotaxi fleet, limiting unsupervised operation to areas where the robotaxi service already runs. The rollout faces constraints including operating zones, road types, regulation and hardware compatibility.

Mastercard to modernise cross-border remittances with AI and stablecoins

Mastercard is accelerating efforts to modernise cross-border remittance systems by using AI and stablecoins. It aims to help banks and fintech companies connect multiple payment networks to speed up transfers and reduce costs. Pratik Khowala (프라틱 코왈라) said key priorities are speed, accuracy, trust and cooperation, citing long processing times and opaque fund movements as problems. Mastercard is expanding Mastercard Move with a multi-rail routing approach and added functions such as tracking, fraud risk assessment and settlement.
