Quantum Solutions sells 1,000 ETH, raises Ethereum disposal cap for AI infrastructure investment

Japan-listed Quantum Solutions sold 1,000 ether held by a consolidated subsidiary on July 30 and raised its cumulative Ethereum disposal cap to 4,375 ETH from 1,875 ETH, keeping the sale period through Oct. 30. The company said the move is part of a financial strategy to secure funds for its AI infrastructure business, including AI data centre projects. Proceeds were about 311 million yen, and holdings fell to 4,764.80 ETH.

Banks issue consumer alert over upfront fees in ETF trusts sold within six months

South Korea\'s Financial Supervisory Service issued a consumer alert after finding bank ETF trust trading surged and was mostly short-term, yet many investors chose upfront fees and incurred unnecessary costs. Six banks sold 64 trillion won of ETF trusts in 1.03 million contracts from January 2025 to May 2026. The FSS said average holding was 42 days and most positions were sold within six months. It plans to review fee structures and bank sales practices.
