Cloudflare launches browser-based open-source AI workspace Cloudflare OS
Cloudflare has launched an open-source AI agent workspace for enterprise employees called Cloudflare OS. The browser-based platform is designed to let staff build and share customised microapps using internal company knowledge. Cloudflare said it introduced the product to address shortcomings in existing enterprise AI tools in understanding corporate structures and work methods. The system supports internal workflows, access control and connections to real-time data, and allows administrators to monitor token use and costs.

Cloudflare unveils payment service for AI agents
Cloudflare on Aug. 6 unveiled Cloudflare Wallets and cloudflare.pay, services designed to assign identities to AI agents deployed on its platform and allow them to make online payments within limits set by users. The company said the tools provide a foundation for buyers and sellers to verify counterparties and handle transactions safely. Cloudflare said each account is given a unique web address that serves as a stable ID.

AI agent web traffic overtakes humans, raising \'dead internet\' theory question
Web traffic generated by AI agents has surpassed human traffic for the first time in the internet’s history, SiliconANGLE reported. Cloudflare CEO Matthew Prince cited data from the company’s Cloudflare Radar internet tracking tool. Cloudflare said AI agent bots accounted for 57.4 percent of overall web traffic, while human traffic was 42.6 percent. Regional data showed wide variation, with bots leading in North America and humans still ahead in parts of Asia and other regions.
