Apple vice president says iPhone Duo and iPad uses will naturally diverge

Apple Senior Vice President of Software Engineering Craig Federighi (크레이그 페더리기) said the new iPhone Duo and the iPad may overlap in some areas of use, but their practical roles will naturally diverge. He told MKBHD in an interview this week that users developed clear patterns for when to use an iPad versus a Mac, and he expects a similar trend between the iPad and iPhone Duo. He also singled out the iPad mini as a possible area of overlap and said Apple redesigned the iOS experience for the iPhone Duo from the ground up.
