MacBook Air shortage worsens, deliveries delayed up to five weeks

Apple\'s MacBook Air supply shortage is deepening, pushing delivery waits for some configurations to more than a month. TechRadar reported most models on Apple\'s online store show estimated delivery of 2 to 3 weeks, while versions with 32GB of RAM can take 4 to 5 weeks. The report cited RAM shortages across the PC hardware industry and said delays persist despite a $200 price increase for the MacBook Air M5 in early June.

Apple may launch two new laptops with upgraded performance and design changes

Apple is expected to launch two new laptops this fall aimed at MacBook Pro users, an IT outlet reported. The lineup could include an M6-powered MacBook Pro and a MacBook Ultra with a new design. The M6 model is seen as the successor to last fall’s M5 MacBook Pro and may be Apple’s first Mac chip using a 2-nanometer process. Apple is also said to be targeting an M7 chip in the first half of next year.
