August crypto hacks hit 50 incidents, cases up 67 percent while losses halved
Major hacking incidents in the crypto industry rose sharply in August from the previous month, with 50 cases tallied, up about 67 percent from July’s 30. Despite the jump in incidents, the total value of stolen assets fell to $136.3 million, down 49.5 percent from about $270 million in July, as the scale of large incidents declined. Tectonic Finance accounted for the largest single loss at about $74 million.

Samsung Electronics unveils world\'s first 360Hz OLED gaming monitor
Samsung Electronics unveiled four 2027 Odyssey gaming monitors at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany. The lineup includes the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, the first 360Hz OLED gaming monitor, as well as the 32-inch OLED G8, 42-inch OLED G7 and 27-inch G6. The company also outlined plans for glasses-free 3D support and expanding compatible games, including titles such as Cyberpunk 2077.

Com2uS unveils teaser site for new MMORPG \'Zeus: God of Arrogance\'
Com2uS has opened a teaser site for its new massively multiplayer online role-playing game, \'Zeus: God of Arrogance\', ahead of a planned launch in the third quarter. The company said the site includes a cinematic teaser video. The game is being developed using Unreal Engine 5 rendering technology and Nvidia upscaling. It is set in a world inspired by Greek mythology and centers on a narrative involving Pandora\'s box and Kronos\' revival.
